Delhi Chief Minister Granted Interim Bail, Home Minister Raises Concerns

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court to campaign for the upcoming General Elections. However, Home Minister Amit Shah expressed concerns about the decision, stating that it was not a routine judgment and many believe "special treatment" was given.

In an interview with ANI, Shah said, "The Supreme Court has the right to interpret the law. I believe this was not a normal or routine judgment. Many in the country believe that special treatment has been given."

West Bengal Governor Faces Resignation Demands

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has demanded the resignation of West Bengal Governor Ananda Bose following a police report on allegations of sexual harassment against him. The report was submitted to the state secretariat in connection with a complaint filed by an Odishi dancer last year.

Additional Commissioner of Police, Murlidhar Sharma, confirmed that the report was submitted four days ago and is related to a 7-8 month old complaint. The TMC has called for Bose's immediate resignation, citing the seriousness of the allegations.
