Arby’s reintroduce its Wagyu Steakhouse Burger

23.05.2022

Arby s added the Wagyu Steakhouse Burger to its menu on Monday, amid increasing competition among fast-food chains.

Arby's is reintroducing the fast-food chain's first traditional beef hamburger option in almost 60 years, thanks to its slogan We Have The Meats. The burger, a blend of 52% American Wagyu and 48% ground beef, costs $5.99 and will be available through July 31.

There are too many bad burgers out there. Arby's created this burger with Wagyu beef, cooked medium-well with a hint of pink, Arby said on its website.

Arby's is taking on other burger chains like McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Sonic Drive-In, and Jack in the Box, because of the heavy competition in the fast-food industry. Fast-food chains usually offer new items to keep their customers happy, due to the high competition.

Arby's says that the Wagyu blend is a better-quality burger. The burger comes with American cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion and a special burger sauce on a toasted buttery brioche bun, according to the website.

There are currently 3,400 Arby s locations in the U.S. The states with the most chain stores are Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. The Midwestern states make up 18% of all U.S. Arby's locations, Scrape Hero reported.

Arby s face a lot of competition in the fast-food wars. In the U.S. there are 13,355 McDonald s locations, 7,257 Burger King locations and 6,500 Wendy s locations.
