Bulgaria reports 595 new cases of Covid in past 24 hours

In the past 24 hours, 595 new cases of Covid 19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria, out of 5,300 tests performed, or 472 more than the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data shows. 57% of the new cases are unvaccinated. 11% of the tests returned positive results.

The highest number of new cases was registered in Sofia 215, followed by Plovdiv 53 and Varna 46.

The number of active cases of coronaviruses is 60,930. In the past day, 63 people have been admitted to the hospital. 71% of them were not vaccinated. There are 329 people in the hospital, and 26 of them are in intensive care units.

1 person with a known coronaviruses has died in the past day. 987 have been reported to have been cured.

On Monday, 666 vaccine doses were administered. The number of people with completed the vaccine cycle is 2,061, 478. 763,957 had a booster shot.
