The move comes a week after the company slashed more than 1,000 jobs in the United States amid a downturn in the sector of cryptocurrencies.

Inflation and rising interest rates have caused investors to ditch risky assets, so digital assets prices have dived recently. The selloff has led to Coinbase shares falling more than 80% this year.
