Former Bulgarian coalition partner to participate in cabinet

The Bulgarian Socialist Party set a condition that the incumbent prime minister's candidacy should not be put forward for the post again.

The coalition is willing to negotiate for a cabinet of experts with limited mandates, according to Democratic Bulgaria co-chairman Hristo Ivanov. He said that he would discuss such an option, which would shift the focus to expert figures rather than political leaders, and he admitted to a shift to a dialogue mode, including with the opposition. Hristo Ivanov opposed the possibility of him being nominated for prime minister.
