The last of the data series focuses on the role of the city as a hub for arts and culture exchanges between China and the rest of the world.
Hong Kong is a place where Chinese and Western cultures meet, with strengths in art and culture, and is fit to be the hub for Chinese and Western arts and cultural exchanges. In order to achieve this goal, we must develop cultural industries, as art is not out of reach like the otherworldly flower that is up in the mountain. The 14th Five-Year Plan 2021 -- 2025, aimed at establishing Hong Kong as a hub for arts and cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world, has brought significant opportunities for developing arts and culture in Hong Kong in terms of policymaking.
On the other hand, it can improve the confidence of Hong Kong residents culturally, strengthen their bonding with those from the Chinese mainland, and help identify, distill, and demonstrate the values of traditional Chinese culture. On the other hand, it will promote the development of culture-related industries in Hong Kong, promote Chinese culture, and tell China stories better to the world.
