Hong Kong is the most advanced city in the country in terms of IP protection, with various IP rights protected and managed - including trademarks, patents, designs, plant varieties, layout-design of integrated circuits, and copyrights. IP protection is one of the most important considerations for investors doing business in international markets and protect brand assets must include regulations, enforcement, governance, and a good reputation.
