03.08.2022

It is a great achievement to be recognized at the European FinTech AwardsFinTech Awards, and it is very special to win the first place and to be recognised as the best in all continent," said Gustas Germanavi ius, founder and CEO of the start-up, who represented the company at the ceremony in London.

The finalists for this year's European Fintech Awards were selected from hundreds of companies by an independent panel consisting of representatives from the European Digital Finance Association, the Icelandic Fintech Cluster, Copenhagen Fintech, the Spanish Fintech and Insurance Technology Association and the European Fintech Association. They decided to award InRento as the best investment technology in Europe.

In order to be innovative and original, G. Germanavi ius believes that FinTech companies operating in Lithuania must not stop and continue to strive for innovation and originality.

We missed other Lithuanians at the awards, although there was no shortage of Latvians and Estonians. This is a case that shows that Lithuanian FinTech companies need to go back to their roots and look for ways to solve the problems that people face in their daily lives and offer innovations that solve them, emphasises G. Germanavi ius.

The success of this strategy is evidenced by the international recognition of InRento: When we created this product, we wanted to make investing in real estate rental projects accessible to everyone and help people save by investing wisely, safely and consciously. This area is quite new, not only in Lithuania, but also in Europe, according to Germanavi ius.

In just a year and a half, InRento has become the largest licensed buy-to-let crowdfunding platform in the European Union, and is now the best investment technology in Europe Europe FinTech AwardsFinTech Awards. InRento has brought together a community of 13,000 investors and has collectively financed more than 16 million.
