Nicolas Sturgeon asked for Vogue interview, she wanted to get into it

Sturgeon spoke to the audience quite well, and I remember it quite well. I had just done, and this is going to sound really up myself, but I don't mean to I have just been interviewed by Vogue, as you do that was the main thing she wanted to talk to me about, she wanted to know how she could get into Vogue.

I said to her, they came and asked me. Sturgeon was responding to comments made by Truss during a Conservative leadership hustings event in Exeter in which Truss called Sturgeon an attention seeker and told the audience that the best thing to do with Nicola Sturgeon is to ignore her Ruling out a second independence referendum, Truss told the audience: She is an attention seeker, that is what she is. We need to show the people of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales what we are delivering for them and making sure all of our government policies apply across the United Kingdom. Speaking at the Edinburgh fringe event, Sturgeon said that when she told the foreign secretary that she had appeared in Vogue twice in 2015 and again in 2021, Truss looked a little bit as if she had swallowed a wasp, because there we were at the world's biggest climate change conference in Glasgow, world leaders about to arrive. She was interested in pursuing a topic of conversation that was the main topic of the conversation. Once exhausted, it kind of dried up. She said that we are sure to have many more conversations about many more substantive things. I am sure she will be in Vogue before too long. The Guardian approached Vogue for comment on whether Truss will appear in a future issue.
