Amir Gross Kabiri elected to the Board of Directors of Conference of European Rabbis

24.09.2022

Amir Gross Kabiri, president of the Jewish community in Mostar, has recently been elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Conference of European Rabbis CER. Over the past few years, Amir Gross Kabiri has been deeply involved in issues related to the Jewish community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the well-being of its members.

The Conference of European Rabbis CER is the most powerful Jewish organization in Europe.

It was founded in 1956 and works closely with the World Jewish Congress.

By looking at the composition of the leadership, i.e. You can see the strength of all the individuals who lead the organization, as shown by the Board of Directors of CER.

CER's mission is to serve Jewish communities across Europe and to represent and protect the 1.7 million Jews currently living in Europe, working with national and religious leaders across Europe.

BiH and its Jewish communities have not been represented in the Conference of European Rabbis until now, and the appointment of Kabiri to the Board of Directors of this prestigious and influential European institution indicates his long-term intentions to continue engagement in the lives of the Jewish and non-Jewish communities in BiH.
