Former Tesla executive calls for Apple products to be protected with apps

30.09.2022

Andrej Karpathy, the former AI director at Tesla, took to Twitter on Thursday to address an issue he finds with Apple Inc. AAPL products.

What happened to Apple products that don't allow you to keep track of conversations across 10 apps, according to Karpathy. He suggested that it would require some operating-level help to sort notifications into fyis, abbreviation for your information, and to dos. One can sort through the mark as unread and deal with them when one is able to, he said.

He added that the concept is sad.

Twitterati had mixed views about the remarks. One suggested that this was an excellent suggestion, with one calling for the use of text messages to be marked as unread or out of the blue dot back.

A user noted that the iOS 16 allows you to swipe right on a message to mark as unread. Another said this worked for emails and not text messages.

Some people suggested that Karpathy switch to Android, claiming it is better, because it was an open system.

According to Benzinga Pro data, Apple's shares closed Thursday at 4.91% lower than the price action of $142.48, a decline of more than 4.91%.
