Bosnia and Herzegovina proposes one-time benefits for miners

As was done for the employees of the state enterprise, Elektroprivreda Bosnia and Herzegovina EPBiH sent a proposal to pay the miners the same one-time amounts of 750 BAM.

The directors of seven mines that are part of the EPBiH concern received recommendations to pay the workers one-time financial aid in the amount of 750 BAM each, which will be respected.

The decision by EPBiH to pay the workers of the public company a one-time financial aid in the amount of 750 BAM with the next salary has caused a harsh reaction from the BiH public.

The Independent Union of Mine Workers in the Federation of BiH FBiH stated that this move would cause a number of negative consequences and that it did not include miners.

One of the mines that are part of the EPBiH concern was yesterday when the miners of the second shift refused to go down into the pits in most of the mines. Not long after that, a recommendation was sent by the state-owned company to the directors of the mine about the payment of one-time benefits, Klix.ba reports.
