Anil Agarwal, Indian billionaire, discusses growing ties with Canada

Agarwal, who splits his time between London and Mumbai, was in Toronto to accept the Global India Award from the Canada India Foundation. India is a major source of investment for Canadian pensions and mutual funds. There are more than 80,00 Indian students enrolled in universities in Canada, which are more than China, Japan and the Philippines combined. Agarwal spoke about the growing relationship between India and Canada, and many other issues. The interview is edited for clarity and brevity.
