HFCL inks deal with Qualcomm for 5G Outdoor Small Cell

HFCL Limited, a tech company, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Qualcomm Technologies Inc. for the design and development of 5 G Outdoor Small Cell products. The investment in 5 G Outdoor Small Cell products will enable faster roll out of 5 G networks, improve 5 G user experience and more efficient use of 5 G spectrum, according to HFCL.

HFCL's 5 G Outdoor Small Cell is an All-in Small Cell that supports both 5 G Non-Standalone NSA and Standalone SA mode. It supports flexible deployment options and can be deployed on street poles, walls and roofs to cover traffic hotspots, fill network coverage holes and improve coverage at public venues, such as railway stations, stadiums and airports, the company stated.
