Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation donates billions to charity

After the Bill Melinda Gates Foundation was established in 1999, an endowment estimated at more than $22 billion was established in early 2000, ranking as the largest philanthropic trust in the United States. Since it was founded, the foundation has spent almost 80 billion dollars on causes that include malaria, HIV AIDS and the coronaviruses.

Warren Buffett donated at least $48 billion to charity, with most of it going to the Bill Melinda Gates Foundation. Buffett and Bill Gates have been good friends for at least 30 years after hitting it off the first time they met in 1991.

FedEx Corporation FDX has a track record of increasing its dividends once in the past year, making it a quarterly payment of 2.61% or $4.60 per share. FedEx serves more than 220 countries and territories and continues to offer new products and services around the globe.

For the fiscal year 2022, total revenues were $93.5 billion, as segments include FedEx Express accounting for 49% of total sales FedEx Ground 35% of total sales FedEx Freight 10% of total sales FedEx Other and eliminations 5% of total sales. Gates increased his stake in FedEx by 1,534, 362 shares.
