Bos and Herzegovina's Presidency of Bosnia-Hercegovina discusses reforms

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina eljko Kom i and Denis Beirovi received yesterday the High Representative for BiH Christian Schmidt, with whom they talked about reforms on the Euro-Atlantic path of BiH, especially in the context of the European Commission's recommendation to grant BiH candidate status, which encourages the BiH authorities to engage further in the reforms.

As it was said, Bosnia and Herzegovina has important weeks ahead of it, high-level meetings with EU bodies and expectations are that positive decisions will be made for Bosnia and Herzegovina's path towards the EU, which will be an encouragement to the citizens that a European perspective is possible.

The OHR has a big role in building a democratic and legal state that is moving towards the EU. It was said that the standards of respect for democracy in the EU should also be applied in Bosnia and Herzegovina, bearing in mind the positive messages and recommendations for the candidate status of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina Schmidt wishes the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina a successful mandate and expressed the hope that cooperation with the OHR will be the topic of future meetings, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
