Slush appoints Russian women as co-founder

The start-up tries to facilitate the immigration process for knowledge workers who want to enter the United Kingdom. The critics stated that its operations focus only on assisting experts leaving Russia. According to Helsingin Sanomat, both Mirolyubova and Sharonov are Russian nationals but long-time residents of the United Kingdom.

Yaroslav Krempovych, a Ukrainian venture capital investor, wrote on Friday that the start-up continues to have a staff of only Russians, some of whom are still in Russia, according to YLE. Helsingin Sanomat, an advisor to the Ukrainian minister of digital transformation, said the selection was disappointing and shameful.
