Bos and Herzegovina's Presidency seeks candidate status for EU

Denis Beirovi, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, received the Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Dilberovi, who discussed the possibility of Bosnia and Herzegovina to receive candidate status for membership in the European Union at the European Council session in December.

Following the messages from the EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Relations and Enlargement Oliv r V rhely, the acceleration of work on 14 key priorities, necessary for the dynamizing of the European path of our country, was also discussed by the BiH Presidency.

Beirovi said that it is time for the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to make a positive turn in order to dynamize the integration process of our country in the EU. He stressed that it is of crucial importance that Bosnia and Herzegovina make a series of positive developments in the coming weeks, and thus justify the trust of the EU.

Information was also exchanged on the process of institutional cooperation between the BiH and the European Union, resulting from the Stabilization and Association Agreement, as well as the Coordination Mechanism.
