Ard Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina represent a factor of stability and security

The OSBiH Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are a factor of stability and security. In the past 17 years, the members of the Armed Forces have made a significant contribution to the fulfillment of the strategic goals of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina on its way to Euro-Atlantic integration by carrying out tasks in the country and abroad, as well as with their own professionalism, knowledge and perseverance.

This was highlighted tonight at the solemn academy on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the formation and the Day of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina December 1, held in the Hall of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.

On behalf of the Presidency of BiH, eljko Kom i greeted the participants of the gathering and said that Armed Forces Day is an opportunity to remember the contribution of those who invested a lot of knowledge, will and effort in the process of establishing the Armed Forces of BiH.

He said that the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina represent a factor of stability and security in the whole country, as well as a reliable partner for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and state institutions, as well as allies on the international level.

He recalled several examples of aid to the population of BiH as part of civil-military cooperation, that is, in response to natural disasters and similar challenges.

He stated that the participation of the state of BiH at the NATO Summit in Madrid was preceded by the participation of the state of BiH as a country in the process of Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

He said that the state can't count on the protection of territorial integrity and sovereignty without a strong Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Stable and strong Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the main guarantee of survival and stability of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a lever that must never be called into question by anything. At a time when wars are still being waged in Europe, and when individual countries are once again committing aggression in violation of international law, the importance of the Armed Forces is first-rate, said Kom i, congratulating the Day of the Armed Forces of BiH.the Armed Forces of BiH.

On the same occasion, the participants of the ceremony were addressed by the Minister of Defense of BiH Sifet Pod i and the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, Colonel General Senad Ma ovi, who expressed their satisfaction with everything that marked the reform of the defense sector of BiH, emphasizing the priorities in terms of Euro-Atlantic integration.

The solemn academy was attended by representatives of public, political and cultural life in BiH, as well as members of the diplomatic corps and officials of international organizations, as well as the members of the BiH Presidency eljko Kom i and Denis Be irovi, and the highest officials of the MoBiH and the 17th anniversary of their formation.
