Japanese police search for members of QAnon conspiracy cult after forcing way into vaccine site

05.12.2022

The head office of a group that claimed to be the Japanese arm of the U.S. conspiracy cult QAnon was searched by police on Monday after its members were arrested for forcing their way into a local mass coronaviruses vaccination site earlier this year.

One of the eight members of the YamatoQ group, including one of its leaders, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of trespassing after they entered the vaccine site in Yaizu in the central Japanese prefecture in March.

Those arrested called Vaccination an act of murder at the site, according to police. The prefectural police searched the group's head office in Fukuroi.
