EU4 BusinessRecovery project launches public call

Public call for participation in the program of technical support and grant allocation in the EU 4 BusinessRecovery project, which is funded by the European Union and Federal Republic of Germany, has been published, including measures to protect against COVID 19 in the agricultural sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Through this public call, worth 600,000 KM, the European Union will enable the participation of business entities in the program of education, technical and financial support related to protection and safety at work. After participating in the education and technical support of the project, companies will be qualified for financial support for investments from 10,000 to 30,000 KM, which will be aimed at implementing recommendations to improve safety and security at work, including COVID 19 measures announced by the UNDP.

Trades, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that have registered at least one year before the publication of this Public Call and are engaged in primary agricultural production or processing of agricultural products and raw materials can apply for the public call. For each project, the applicant must provide co-financing in the amount of 15 percent of the total cost of the proposed investment.

The modernization of the agricultural and food sector and the improvement of the rural economy are some of the goals of the investments. The main goal is to ensure the survival of micro, small and medium enterprises in important economic sectors of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to reduce the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The EU 4 BusinessRecovery project makes an important economic and social contribution in the areas of hygiene and safety at work, workplace safety, product innovation and digitalization.
