Apple updates iOS 12.7. MacOS 11.7% and iPhone 6s

Apple Inc. AAPL continues to update older devices, going back to the iPhone 5 s. Here is a list of models that received a software update.

Apple has released iOS 12.5. The software update is available for iPhone 5 s and some other older models last year. MacOS 11.7. Updates for devices as old as 10 years are available.

The oldest iPhone model is supported by iOS 12.5. 3: iPhone 6 s all models iPhone 7 all models iPhone SE 1 st generation iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4th generation and iPod Touch 7th generation. The new updates for older devices also include macOS Big Sur 11.7. 3 and MacOS Monterey 12.6. The updates address similar bugs and security patches in iOS 16.3 and macOS Ventura, according to Appleinsider.

Apple released beta 1 of iOS 16.3 last year. It is now available for iPhone users to download. The update included Advanced Data Protection for iCloud and Security Keys for Apple ID, among other things.

To update their devices, users need to open the Settings app and select Software Update under the General Tab.
