Bulgaria leads European higher education market

The Netherlands is the most desirable destination for higher education for Bulgarian young people. In the last 1.2 years, the Netherlands is still the leader among applicants for higher education in Europe, according to Nikolay Histanov, manager of Higher Education Abroad Programs at Integral Educational Programs.

After Brexit and the change in the conditions for studying in Great Britain, there has been an increase in interest in Belgium and Italy, Germany and Austria, where universities offer a variety of programs in German and English.

According to Hristanov, the interest in Dutch universities is mainly due to the state's policy of halving the fee of 2,000 euros for the first year, as well as the many and varied programs in English.

In addition, universities in the Netherlands are practical and academic, where applicants can find the most suitable educational institution for them. They also have opportunities to do internships during their studies.
