In order to secure a deal on medicine supplies to Northern Ireland, Mr Sefocvic admitted that the EU is ready to change its legislation for the UK. Following Lord Frost's warnings, Mr Sefcovic admitted that the supply of medicines to Northern Ireland must be protected. Sefcovic said we are ready to change our legislation in order to find a solution for the uninterrupted supply of medicines in Northern Ireland.

He also told Politico: I m insisting to hear from David Frost and his team: Do you still have any issues with the way we want to solve the medicine issue? The two sides will discuss issues surrounding customs checks, sanitary and phytosanitary checks and the role of the European Court of Justice.

There is a chance that talks on the three issues will take place next year, but an agreement on medicines must be reached before the end of the year, when a crucial grace period ends.
