Speaker of Bosnia and Herzegovina meets with top EU officials in Berlin

Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdi held separate meetings in Berlin with the Chair of the Bundestag Committee on European Union Affairs Anton Hofreiter and the Special Representative of the Federal Republic of Germany for Western Balkans Manuel Sarrazin. Speaker Zvizdi introduced the interlocutors to the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the strengthening of the fourteen priorities of the European Commission to accelerate the path towards European integration.

After obtaining the candidate status, the interlocutors of the meetings agreed that Bosnia and Herzegovina must work quickly on adopting specific legal regulations to strengthen the rule of law and the overall stability of the state and the region. They also expressed a strong position regarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They also discussed the need for stronger economic development, which would give all citizens, especially young people, a clear perspective and prosperity.
