01.06.2023

In the January-March period, Japanese companies rose spending on plant and equipment at the fastest rate since 2015, with a stronger-than-expected performance by manufacturers signaling a possible upward revision to first-quarter economic growth.

Japan's economy has experienced a good boost in capital spending, buoyed by a surge in consumption and surprise gains in business expenditure, a bright spot for Japan's economy.
