Bulgarians want full Russian ties after war

The European Council for Foreign Relations survey shows 51% of Bulgarians want to see the restoration of cooperation with Russia in full after the war, according to the European Council for Foreign Relations. About one-third of people in Austria and Hungary, and one-quarter of Germans, support the same view, while in Poland, 39% say that all relations with Russia should be severed even after the war in Ukraine is over. The survey found that 47% of Bulgarians regard Russia as a necessary partner and 18% say Russia is an ally that shares our own interests and values. According to 17% of Bulgarian respondents, Russia is an adversary with which we are in conflict. Italy is positioned around midway, with one-quarter of the respondents saying Russia is an ally or a partner to Europe or their country, and only one-third regard Moscow as an adversary.
