Infosys to announce financial results on January 12

Information services major Infosys Limited is expected to announce its financial results on January 12, 2022, the quarter ending December 31, 2021, on January 12, 2022.

The IT company will hold investor analyst calls on January 12, 2022 to discuss the financial results for the quarter and business outlook, according to a regulatory filing by the Bengaluru-based IT company.

The shares of Infosys were 1.06 per cent lower on Wednesday, at Rs 1,733. It's 50 apiece on the BSE.

Infosys said earlier today that its subsidiary, Infosys Consulting, is acquiring Singtel's delivery centre in Malaysia.

The cost of the transaction is up to 6 million Singapore dollars, including the value of net assets, subject to custom closing adjustments that Infosys said in a regulatory filing.

Infosys is acquiring 100 percent of the share capital of Singapore Telecommunications Limited's Singtel delivery centre in Malaysia Global Enterprise International Malaysia Sdn Bhd as part of a strategic partnership with Asia's biggest market, as well as to bolster Infosys' presence in Malaysia, a strategic delivery and sales hub in South East Asia, as part of a strategic partnership, it said.

In September, Infosys had reported a 12 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 5,421 crore. The profit was Rs 4,845 crore in the year-ago period. The company's profit grew by a margin of 4.3 per cent from Rs 5,195 crore in the June quarter.
