Putin says it yet to find position on Taliban in Afghanistan

(THE MOSCOW, Aug 26 - Aug 26 ) Russia has yet to find its position towards the Taliban and will see how they can act toward the Afghan population and Russian diplomats, President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday.

Moscow is interested in the stability of Afghanistan and will likely continue contacts with Washington on issues arising there, Dmitry Peskov told a briefing.
