RRR release date: makers hint at two dates for the film

New Delhi India January 21 ANI Considering the current COVID 19 Pandemic situation in the country, the makers of the upcoming magnum opus 'RRR' have hinted at two release dates for the film.

The makers issued a statement about the release date by taking to their Twitter handle.

If the country gets better and all theatres open to operate at full capacity, we are ready to release the film on March 18th, 2022. The statement concluded that the RRR Movie will be released on April 28th, 2022.

The SS Rajamouli directorial was scheduled to be released on January 7, 2022, but was postponed due to the closing of theatres in many states across the country.

RRR'' is a fictional take on the younger days of the celebrated freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju, portrayed by Jr. NTR and Ram Charan.

RRR'' was originally planned to be released on July 30, 2020. The makers had to push the release date due to the unforeseen delays caused by injuries suffered by Jr NTR and Ram during production.

The release date was pushed to October 13, 2021, but due to the theatres not fully functional, the makers postponed that date.
