Aspirational districts are working on removing barriers, says PM Modi

New Delhi India January 22 ANI Emphasizing that district administration have an important role in good governance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that aspirational districts are eliminating barriers and are becoming accelerators of the country's progress, and that it ensures full participation of people's ability in the burgeoning economy.

In life, people work day and night to achieve their aspirations and fulfill them to some extent. The Prime Minister said while interacting with the district magistrates of various districts to make sure that the aspirations of others become one's own, when fulfilling the dreams of others become the measure of one's success, that path of duty creates history.

Aspirational districts are working on removing the barriers and contributing to the progress of the country. He added that the 'Aspirational Districts' are becoming an accelerator instead of being in stagnation with the help of efforts made by all of you.

The Prime Minister emphasised the need to compete and learn from others in the spirit of competitive and cooperative federalism.

Every district has to learn from the success of others and also evaluate their challenges, according to PM Modi.

PM Modi said there should be a direct, emotional connection between administration and the public to ensure a top to bottom and bottom to top governance flow.

The emotional connection between administration and the public helps the government to implement the schemes in a better way. For field visits inspections, detail guidelines should be made, he added.

He said that this history is being made in the aspirational districts of the country.

The Prime Minister has had direct feedback on the progress and current status of implementation of government schemes and programmes in the districts. It is aimed at achieving saturation of various schemes by different departments in the districts in mission mode, in alignment with all stakeholders.
