Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose instilled patriotism among Indian soldiers: ANI

Imphal Manipur India January 24 ANI Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat, on Sunday, said that the freedom fighter instilled the fire of patriotism among Indian soldiers who fought in the British Army.

On his birth anniversary, Bhagwat paid floral tributes to the great freedom fighter, which the country was celebrating as Parakram Diwas.

He spoke about the occasion organised by RSS, Bhagwat said he learned to use arms in the British army and instilled the fire of patriotism among the Indian people who had fought in the British army. Netaji challenged the British empire, according to the RSS chief.

He challenged the mighty English power. After coming to India, he said, he had also announced that India was independent.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the hologram statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the India Gate on Sunday.

In order to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of great freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and as part of the year-long celebrations, the government has decided to install a grand statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at India Gate.
