France calls British ambassador over $40 B deal in Australia

PARIS, Sept 17 Reuters - The United Kingdom in the deal between the United States and Australia that broke a $40 billion subcontract deal between Canberra and Paris said an opportunistic source on Friday.

The French opportunistically called the British Embassy in order to accompanies this operation, said the UK diplomat source. We don't need to consult in Paris with our ambassador to know what to think and what conclusions to draw from it. France has not referred to Britain in any official communication regarding the deal, focusing its ire on Australia and in particular the United States.
