Congress vs. BJP on Lies, PM Modi, and the Upcoming Elections

Secunderabad MP Candidate Danam Nagender Holds Bike Rally

On Monday, Secunderabad Congress MP candidate Danam Nagender held a bike rally in Shaikpet, Jubilee Hills, alongside former cricketer and Congress leader Mohammad Azharuddin.

Nagender expressed confidence in the upcoming elections, stating, "I hope we will see historic results on June 4. People are going to give a befitting reply to the communal forces in the country." He emphasized the importance of the election as a fight for democracy.

Azharuddin voiced his support for Nagender, calling him "a beloved leader in the state" and urging people to vote for him. He criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating, "Congress fulfills the promises it makes, unlike BJP."

BJP Candidate G Kishan Reddy Responds

Earlier in the day, Union Minister and BJP candidate from Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency, G Kishan Reddy, addressed the Congress campaign. He accused them of spreading lies about reservations out of insecurity and asserted that the people want Prime Minister Narendra Modi to return to power.

Reddy stated, "BJP's election campaign has started in Telangana... The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is behind (in the Lok Sabha elections). The people want Narendra Modi to become the Prime Minister once again." He dismissed the Congress campaign as false and claimed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was shamelessly campaigning on the issue of reservations.

Upcoming Elections in Telangana

Polling for 17 parliamentary constituencies in Telangana is scheduled for May 13, as part of the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections. The counting of votes for all seven phases will take place on June 4.

In the 2019 elections, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) won nine seats, BJP secured four, Indian National Congress (INC) obtained three, and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) won one seat.
