Croatian President Zoran Milanovi says possible participation of EU forces

25.09.2022

In a statement to the media during the markings of the 20th generation of cadets of the Croatian Military Academy Dr. Franjo Tu man the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanovi referred to the work of the High Representative Christian Schmidt, as well as the possibility of Croatian forces participating in the EUFOR.

Referring to the statement of Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovi who previously invited Schmidt to use the Bonn powers, Milanovi said:

What have I been doing for the last year? He said that you do some things on time or you don't do them. He also reiterated his position on the senselessness of the high representative's mandate and that he makes decisions that are exclusively against Croats.

Milanovi said in a familiar tone: Do you have authority or not? Two thousand rowdies take to the streets and you panic and go to Germany to marry your daughter. Two thousand Serbs come to Sarajevo, or a Croat from Mostar, so let s see how it goes and at the end, alluding to Plenkovi's presentation, he said. Marko arrives late in Kosovo Milanovi again referred to the possible participation of Croatian forces in the EUFOR.

Austrian soldiers are present in BiH, Croatia is not, because someone doesn't like it? I started to like that we were there and then added: There pointing with his hand are officers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosniak nationality, who come every year. Then why do they come to the enemy's country? Milanovi gave the example of Turkey.

Turkey, which is not the EU, can, but Croatia can't. Erdogan was my dear guest and said Dayton should be abolished. His army can be found in BiH. Very unusual things are happening.
