How Mexican authorities discovered the whereabouts of drug lord

The Mexican government discovered the whereabouts of Ricardo Ruiz VelascoRuiz Velasco, the alleged leader of Jalisco Nueva Generaci n Cartel, also known as Double R or El Youtuber. How did the army find out the location of the drug lord? It began with a video clip for a narcocorrido song, a musical style that talks about drug traffickers and their business.

As reported by VICE, artist Luis R. Conr quez is known by the authorities as the exclusive singer of Jalisco Nueva Generaci n Cartel. In fact, Conr quez released a song called Las Haza as del Doble R, where he sings about Ruiz's operations for the cartel.

The authorities were able to identify the location of El Youtuber's ranch, on the border between the Jalisco and Zacatecas mountains thanks to videos posted on social networks and a video clip.

Ruiz is the man behind the propaganda videos of the Jalisco Nueva Generaci n Cartel CJNG, hence his nickname El YouTuber. In turn, the Mexican authorities point to Ruiz as the top commander of the CJNG, which operates in the states of Jalisco, Michoac n and Colima.
