UNICEF in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with representatives of successful companies, launched the Business Advisory Council BAC, which will act as a business platform in the best interest of every child.
At the first meeting of the Council, which was held today in Sarajevo, it was concluded that the Council will work on safety and protection of children in the online and offline environment, mental health, and the development of skills for a smooth transition from education to the working environment.
After meeting with partners from the private sector, retail, banking and other areas, we agreed to focus our cooperation on several areas, primarily education, developing skills in children and protecting mental health of children and young people, said Rownak Khan, chairwoman of the Council and representative of UNICEF in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Council members shared knowledge about concrete, sustainable and responsible initiatives that should lead to the improvement of children's lives.
