The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, wrote a letter to the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic, in which he thanked the citizens of Sarajevo for the support they gave to Ukrainians affected by the war, and thanked them for the upcoming holidays.
In his letter, Klitschko thanked the city of Sarajevo and its citizens for the support and help they provided to Ukrainians who are in difficult times.
When we have friends around us, we become stronger. These terrorists destroy our infrastructure: we can't call our close people, get warm in winter, or wash our hands due to lack of water. It is not scary. Klitschko writes that the heaviest losses are human lives.
In this most difficult period, we see the light of our common values and goals in the midst of darkness. He said that because of your help, this light becomes brighter.
In the end, Klitschko thanked the city of Sarajevo again, as he stated in the letter as true friends for participating in the Kyiv Investment Forum 2022, which for him is an important gesture in helping to rebuild a part of Europe, thinking of Ukraine.
Klicko pointed out that Victory Day will be our common celebration.
