Enes Smajlovi, a municipal attorney of the Stari Grad municipality, was arrested in this morning by the Federal Police Administration FUP together with assistants of Had ibajri Adela Plakalo, Aldiana Kavazovi and Had ibajri Adela Plakalo.
As announced by the Prosecutor's Office of the Canton of Sarajevo, the continuation of the action codenamed Start began early this morning.
The search is ongoing in the municipality of Stari Grad. During the day, three assistant chiefs and a public defender will be brought to the FUP and will be interrogated by the acting prosecutors, after which more details will be known, as well as their identity, it was announced from the CS Prosecutor's Office.
In the municipality of Stari Grad,had ibajri Aldiana Kavazovi is employed as an assistant mayor for the economy and Adis Had ovi as assistant mayor for investments and communal affairs.
Adela Plakalo, assistant to the chief of property-legal, geodetic affairs and cadastre and housing affairs, is responsible for overseeing the chief's activities.
As part of the Start campaign conducted at the beginning of May, Ibrahim Had ibajri Elmedin Kari ik, Seid Had ibajri and Alma Destanovi were also arrested.
They are charged with rackets of organized crime, abuse of position, receiving and giving gifts, and money laundering. The men were sentenced to a month in detention.
