PM Modi to flag off two Vande Bharat Express trains in Gorakhpur today

Narendra Modi will flag off two new Vande Bharat trains in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday. He will lay a foundation stone of projects worth around Rs 50 lakhs during these two days.

The two trains that PM Modi will unveil from Gorakhpur Railway Station are Gorakhpur Lucknow Vande Bharat ExpressVande Bharat Express and Jodhpur Ahmedabad Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express.

The Gorakhpur Lucknow Vande Bharat ExpressVande Bharat Express will pass through Ayodhya and will improve connectivity to important cities in the state and also give a fillip to tourism. Jodhpur's Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express will enhance connectivity to famous places like Jodhpur, Abu Road, Ahmedabad and will boost socio-economic development in the region.

The redevelopment of the Gorakhpur Railway Station will also be done with the Foundation stone of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The railway station will be redeveloped at an average cost of around 498 crore and will provide world-class passenger facilities, the government has said.

The government is always enhancing the rail infrastructure in the nation. In this direction tomorrow, the Vande Bharat train between Gorakhpur-Lucknow will get the privilege of being flagged off. I will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of the Gorakhpur railway station, Mr. Modi said on Thursday.

During his visit in Gorakhpur, he will participate in the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press.

PM Modi will also visit Varanasi on Friday where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for multiple development projects worth more than Rs 12100 crore.

On July 7th, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation various development projects in a public programme in Raipur.

On July 8, PM Modi will reach Warangal, Telangana, for a public programme where he will lay the foundation stone of various projects. He will also visit Bikaner, where he will lay the foundation stone and devote to the nation's multiple development projects in Rajasthan.
