
PM Narendra Modi is all set to address the B 20 summit in Delhi on Sunday at 12 PM, the prime minister's office said on Saturday.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared on Twitter a speech addressing the B 20 summit, which is due to take place on August 27th. This platform is bringing together a wide array of stakeholders working in the business world. A key G 20 group, it has a strong emphasis on boosting economic growth.
The PMO said the B 20 summit in India will bring policymakers, business leaders and experts from around the world to deliberate and discuss the B 20 India Communique. The B 20 India Communique lays out 54 recommendations and 172 policy actions for submission to the G 20.
The official G 20 dialogue forum with the global business community is called the Business 20 B 20. B 20 was established in 2010 and is one of the most prominent Engagement Groups in G 20, with companies and business organizations as participants. The B 20 works to deliver concrete, actionable policy recommendations to spur economic growth and development, the PMO said.
The R.A. I.S. summit is held from 25 to 27 August, and its theme is R.A. I.S. E Responsible, Accelerated, Innovative, sustainable and Equitable Businesses. It is being attended by more than 1,500 delegates from about 55 countries, the release said.
On Friday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, chaired the B 20 summit in Delhi. S Jaishankar, the minister of foreign affairs in India, will also attend the summit. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan joined the summit on Saturday.
The discussions at the B 20 summit highlighted the urgent need for modern financial systems, international collaboration, and government assistance to finance the ambitious climate transition requirement to tackle climate change effectively.
