She remains one of the most influential voices shaping the future of City regulation, as she is the head of conduct, financial crime and compliance at Standard Chartered and part of the Bank of England's central bank digital currency engagement forum.

As a lawyer, I started my career as a private practice, and moving to the regulatory agency in 2001 was a pivotal career moment.
The former chair of the Financial Services Authority, Callum McCarthy, was appointed to the position. He utilized a great sense of humanity and humility, and he could always see the heart of the problem as quickly as possible.
He always put people first and demonstrated genuine humanity and caring for colleagues at all levels.
