Tata Group is assessing whether to bid for UTI Asset Management Company following the entry of Jio Financial Services into the mutual funds industry, according to a report by the Economic Times on Monday. The market for real estate is booming in India, with investments in bullion and real estate at a juncture.
In addition, several new, albeit smaller players such as Old Bridge Capital Management, Helios Capital, and Zerodha Fund House have entered the market.
