Over 30 lakh audit reports have been filed on the e-filing portal of the Income Tax Department until September 30, the tax authority said on Monday.
The Income-tax Department appreciates taxpayers and tax professionals for making compliance on time. To get their books audited, those who were to receive their books audited were supposed to submit the tax audit report on or before September 30 of the relevant assessment year.
