The Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) and the World Trade Centre Istanbul (WTCI) recently discussed ways to strengthen their collaboration. The focus of their meeting was on organizing joint events, conferences, and trade exhibitions. They also explored opportunities for sharing expertise to advance the exhibition industry.

ECS and WTCI explored ways to utilize the latest logistical and technological capabilities to provide optimal services to local exhibitors and international visitors. Furthermore, they considered organizing additional events to enhance communication channels between the business communities of the UAE and Turkiye. This initiative aims to identify new trade opportunities in regional markets.

During the meeting, Coskun Akman, Technical Manager of WTCI, extended an invitation to Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of ECS, to visit the World Trade Centre Istanbul. Together, they reviewed the services provided to exhibitors and discussed how the exhibition industry can leverage the robust economic ties between the UAE and Turkiye.

Al Midfa emphasized Expo Centre Sharjah's commitment to fostering cooperation with various world trade centers. He believes that such partnerships will strengthen ECS's position in the international exhibitions landscape, showcasing its successful track record in organizing events, conferences, and trade shows.

Al Midfa expressed his eagerness to visit WTCI, learn more about its facilities and activities, and exchange ideas and proposals for enhanced collaboration with the Turkish exhibition sector. He sees this as an opportunity to expand the global reach of ECS's trade shows to new markets, creating new opportunities for exhibitors in the UAE and Turkiye.
