GERB Rejects PP/DB Memorandum, Criticizes Ukraine Aid Commitment

In response to a proposed memorandum of governance by GERB's "non-coalition" partner We Continue the Change/Democratic Bulgaria (PP/DB), GERB leader Boyko Borissov has expressed opposition to the distribution of nominations for regulatory bodies on a 50/50 basis. Borissov has proposed a similar distribution in ministries as a counterproposal.

PP/DB's memorandum outlines the rotation of prime ministers between the two political forces over the next nine months. However, Borissov has expressed skepticism about the trust between them, stating that communication has become cautious due to the uncertainty in the meaning behind each word.

Borissov has also criticized the government's commitment to providing military aid to Ukraine. He claims that weapons promised to Ukraine are still in Bulgaria despite accusations from opponents that the country has provided military support.
