Saudi Arabia Invests in Space Education

The Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) has joined forces with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program to launch a campaign promoting the study of Space sciences and engineering. This initiative is part of Saudi Vision 2030's Realization Programs and aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia's capabilities in the space sector.

The campaign encourages students to apply for scholarships that will enable them to pursue bachelor's or master's degrees through the Alrowad or Emdad tracks. The Alrowad track includes partnerships with the top 30 international universities, while the Emdad track covers the best 200 universities. For PhD candidates, the Research and Development track offers opportunities at highly ranked universities within the program's list.

CST's goal is to attract talented individuals to pursue careers in space-related fields, including Aerospace Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Space Science, Astronomy, and Astrophysics. By nurturing domestic talent, CST seeks to establish a robust and skilled workforce that will drive the growth of Saudi Arabia's space industry and enhance its global competitiveness.
