Sindh's New 10-Member Provincial Cabinet Sworn In, Key Ministries Reshuffled

A new 10-member provincial cabinet for Sindh, Pakistan, was sworn in at the Sindh Governor House. Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori administered the oath of office in the presence of top officials, including Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Several members of the previous cabinet were reappointed with reshuffled portfolios. Notable appointees include Sharjeel Inam Memon, Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, and Sardar Ali Shah. Memon will oversee Transport, Mass Transit, Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics. Azra Fazal Pechuho will serve as Health and Population Welfare Minister, while Syed Nasir Hussain Shah will take charge of Energy, Planning, and Development.

Syed Sardar Ali Shah has been appointed Minister for Education and Literacy, College Education, and Mines and Minerals Development. Saeed Ghani will handle Local Government, Housing Town Planning, Public Health Engineering, and Rural Development. Jam Khan Shoro will head Irrigation and Food, while Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar will oversee Home, Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Criminal Prosecution.

Sardar Mohammad Baksh Mahar has been assigned Agriculture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Inquiries, and Anti-Corruption Establishment. Ali Hassan Zardari will serve as Prisons Minister, and Syed Zulfiqar Shah will be responsible for Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, and Archives.

Additionally, Allah Bakhsh Dino Khan Bhio, Ehsanur Rehman Mazari, and Syed Najmi Alam have been appointed as advisers on Forest and Wildlife, Inter-provincial Coordination, and Human Settlement, Special Development & Social Housing, and Livestock and Fisheries, respectively.
