Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Address Public Rally in Tamil Nadu, Holds Road Show

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to engage with the public in Tamil Nadu by addressing a rally and conducting a road show in Krishnagiri and Thiruvannamalai. These events are part of the political campaigning in the state, which will witness voting for all 39 seats in the first phase of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on April 19th.

During a recent rally in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua, Rajnath Singh shared details about the humanitarian efforts led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Singh mentioned that following Modi's discussions with the Presidents of Russia, Ukraine, and America, a temporary ceasefire was arranged for 4.5 hours, allowing the safe evacuation of 22,500 Indian students who were stranded in Ukraine. This diplomatic intervention by the Indian government helped in bringing these students back home amidst the ongoing war situation in the region.

As India prepares for the election process for the 543 Lok Sabha seats to take place between April 19 and June 1, with the final vote counting scheduled for June 4, political leaders like Rajnath Singh are actively engaging with the public to convey their party's vision and discuss critical national and international issues.
