The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President, JP Nadda, and the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel, extended their heartfelt condolences in response to a devastating road accident on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway near Nadiad town in Kheda district, Gujarat. The tragic incident resulted in the loss of at least 10 lives, with eight individuals succumbing to injuries immediately at the accident site, while two others passed away later in the hospital.

JP Nadda took to social media to express his grief, conveying his deep sorrow over the lives lost in the tragic road accident in Nadiad, Gujarat, while also offering his sincerest condolences to the grieving families. Similarly, Gujarat's Chief Minister shared his sympathies on Twitter, describing the accident as a sorrowful tragedy and praying for the souls of the deceased individuals, as well as extending his condolences to their families in this difficult time. The accident occurred when a car carrying 10 people collided with a parked tanker on the Vadodara-Ahmedabad Expressway, leading to immediate fatalities and injuries that have deeply impacted the local community.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Kheda, Rajesh Gadhvi, provided details of the incident, explaining that the parked tanker on the expressway due to a technical fault was struck by the car, resulting in the tragic loss of lives. The authorities swiftly responded to the scene, initiating rescue operations and contacting the relatives of the victims, while also establishing teams to manage the necessary legal procedures in the aftermath of the accident. This unfortunate event has not only caused significant loss of life but has also disrupted traffic on the expressway, highlighting the need for continued vigilance and safety measures on roads to prevent such tragedies.
